Nebican Taşkan is a graphic designer and visual storyteller based in Istanbul. He studied Visual Communication Design at Dumlupınar University and graduated as the valedictorian of the Faculty of Fine Arts. During his studies, he was a founding member of the Visual Communication Society and served as its president for two terms. 
In his professional career, Taşkan has focused on gaining experience in branding and advertising. In 2023, he played an active role as a designer in the development and growth of La Plantin, a cosmetics brand based in Kütahya. 
He then contributed to various design projects at İkikereiki Agency, which operates in both Turkey and London, UK, providing creative services for brands such as Hobson's, Azura, Al Faisal's, Noya, and We Promise. 
In 2024, he took the next step in his career by joining Karbonat, one of Turkey’s largest independent and creative agencies, as an Art Director Intern, where he participated in numerous advertising campaigns and creative processes for clients including Türkiye Finans, Egepen, Realme, Nesine, and Otomol. 
Beyond his professional experience in the industry, Nebican’s main focus lies in creating works that employ visual metaphors. He has produced numerous poster projects, earning various national and international awards. 
His works have been featured in exhibitions and competitions across countries such as Austria, Serbia, Ukraine, Turkey, Poland, Spain, Russia, and South Korea, receiving recognition ranging from exhibition selections to honorable mentions, finalist positions, and first-place awards. 
He also participated in a typography workshop led by Professor Tetiana Ivanenko from Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Fine Arts, as part of the 19th Young Brain Storming International Graphic Design Days, supported by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, where his typography works were subsequently exhibited. 
In 2025, he held his first solo exhibition, titled Perceptions, at the 3rd International Fine Arts, Printmaking, and Sustainability Congress (IFPSC 2025). In this exhibition, he presented his conceptual and visual story–driven posters. 
Nebican is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Art and Design at Dumlupınar University. During this period, his research article on sustainable and environmentally friendly packaging designs was published in a refereed journal. He also presented a paper on social media and digital advertising at the 14th International Communication in the New World Congress. 
He continues his journey in line with his academic career goals, while producing original works that carry meaningful impact.
